Magnus Kyseth CANTON, Minn. — Magnus Kyseth, 81. Canton, died at 12:25a.m. Sunday at Tweeten Memorial Hospital, Spring Grove. He had been hospitalized for five weeks.
He farmed south of Harmony until retiring in 1965, when he moved to Canton. He was born May 15, 1886, in Fillmore County to Martin and Syverinne Kyseth and lived here all his life except for seven years when he homesteaded in North Dakota. He married Blanche Trouten June 9, 1915.
Surviving are: his wife; a son, Vernon, Canton; a grandson, Jerry Kyseth, Minnetonka, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Grindeland, Spring Grove. Five brothers and one sister have died.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at State Line Church, the Rev. Allyn Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
