Mrs. Sophia Pederson
HARMONY, Minn. (Special) — Funeral services will be held Saturday
at 1:30 p. m, at the:home and at 2 p.m. at Fremont Lutheran
Church for Mrs. Sophia Pederson, who died on the home farm
Wednesday after a long illness.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be six
grandchildren Burdette Jacobson, Sanford Pederson, George Pederson, Roger Scrabeck, Dean Pederson and Richard Pederson.
Mrs. Pederson was born July 1, 1874, north of Canton. She was
married Nov. 28, 1892, to Ole 0. Pederson.
Mrs. Pederson was a member of the Fremont Lutheran Church and
a charter member of the Fremont Ladies Aid. She was a Gold Star
Mother member of the American Legion Auxiliary 31 of Harmony.
She lived on the same farm 61 years.
She is survived-by nine children, Mrs. Bennie (Selma) Jacobson,
Cresco, Iowa; Mrs. Spencer (Wilma) Anderson, Cresco; Mrs. Alfred
(Louise) Austenson, Minneapolis; Mrs. Gordon (Ruth) Scrabeck,
Harmony; Mrs. Donald (Marie) Ryan, Mabel; Martin, at home Oliver and Carl, Harmony, and Selmer, Granger; one sister,' Mrs. Sarrah
Grindeland, Spring Grove; two brothers, Magnus Kyseth and
Bennie Kyseth, Harmony; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Her husband and three children, Bennie, Merlin and Albert, have
died.
