He retired after 30 years of service with the General Motors Corporation. He was a self-taught carpenter and former member of the Elks Lodge.
His memory will be cherished by his children, Steve Watkins, Memphis, TN, Dana (Michael) Christmas Coleman, Vicksburg, MS, Yolanda (Carlton) Christmas Holloway, Atlanta, GA, Isaac Christmas, Jr., Atlanta, GA, Merry Christmas, Saginaw, MI, Mark (Betrice) Christmas, Sr., Jonesboro, GA, Melvin Barnes, Sherry (William) McFadden, DeWayne Barnes, all of Saginaw, MI. He also leaves two sisters, Mamie Christmas Davis, New Orleans, LA, Forrestine Christmas Williams, Natchez, MS; one brother, Alphonse Christmas, Natchez, MS; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Hazel Christmas, New Orleans, LA; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Earlene Barnes, Sylvester Davis, Mr. Rueben and Mr. Tommie and his caregiver, Winnie Sanders, all of Saginaw, MI.
Mr. Christmas was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Janie Christmas, Sr.; his wife, Beverly Christmas; eight brothers, Clarence, Joseph, Henry, Sr., Eugene, Robert, Frank and Tom Sr.; seven sisters, Estelle, Alberta, Edna, Rose, Phoebe, Elouise, and his twin, Ida; and one daughter, Dwana.
