April 18, 2020: Thank you to Lexington Genealogical and Historical Society for taking a picture of Susan's gravestone and providing this information:

"We found the Drury family buried on Lot #87, and along with it a stone that just says MOTHER. This we believe is Susan. It does not go with adjoining lot burials so we are sure that it is part of the Drury family.” The member of the Lexington Genealogical and Historical Society who contacted me also stated that they found this while reviewing the sexton records.

Susan was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine (McCarty) Truitt.

Susan married William Drury on June 13, 1847, in Peoria, Illinois. (Maiden name is spelled Trueltt on marriage record in ancestry.com.)

William Drury is found living with his family in Washington, Tazewell County, Illinois, in the census reports for 1860 and 1870. He is last seen in 1880, living with his family in Chenoa, McLean County, Illinois. According to those census reports, William was born around 1812 in Virginia.
