Died suddenly at his residence, 441 Young St. He lived in Elgin for many years and moved to Winnipeg in 1948.

Predeceased by his wife Clara on May 15, 1963 and by his parents Jacob Eamer and Elizabeth Ramsay. Survived by brothers Alfred and Harold of Winnipeg; sisters Leona Williams and Verna Eamer of Selkirk; sisters Almyra Karbowski and Pearl Eamer of Omaha, Nebraska.
