AILENE FRANCIS DELICH
Ailene F. Delich, 79, of Royer, Box 73, Williamsburg RR 2, went home to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon at Altoona Regional Health System, Bon Secours Campus, after a brief illness. She was born in Williamsburg, a daughter of the late Orville Juette and Carolyn (Russell) Isenberg. She married Jacob J. Delich July 1, 1949, in Williamsburg.
Mrs. Delich was a member of Clappertown Alliance Church, Williamsburg RR 2. She was a homemaker who enjoyed puzzle books, reading her Bible and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and great-grandson.
Mrs. Delich was a 1945 graduate of Williamsburg High School.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Dennis "Bud" of Williamsburg RR 2; a daughter, Tina Houck (husband, Phil) of Williamsburg RR 2; one granddaughter, Jen Ross (husband, Tim); one great-grandson, Bradley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Juette 0. Isenberg; and a sister, Janice Megahan.
There will be no public viewing. A public funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, by Pastor Jeremiah A. Sassaman. Private interment will be at Royer Cemetery, Williamsburg RR 2. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department's New Tanker Fund.
