Esther Buescher, 92, of 316 Woodies Lane, Bremen, died at 1:20 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 1992, at Bremen Health Care Center. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), working for St. Clements Hospital in Red Bud, Ill. and employed at Community Hospital of Bremen for many years, retiring in 1978. She was born Aug 4, 1900, in Steeleville, Ill., to William and Louise (Redecker) Buescher. She was a resident of Bremen for many years, coming from Steeleville, Ill. She was never married. Surviving are: Four nieces - Ruth Frick and Gertrude Purschwitz, both of Bremen, Lelia Matzat of North Judson, and Helen Johnson of West Lafayette; one sister, Agnes Koch of Lakefield, Minn. She was preceded in death by four sisters and six brothers. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 15, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Roger E. Rhode, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be at Bremen Cemetery.
