Agnes Koch, 101, formerly of Bremen, died Friday, Jan. 20, 1995, in Lakefield, Minn. She was born on Jan. 7, 1894, in Steeleville, Ill., to William and Louise Buescher. She was married on July 21, 1918 in Steeleville to the Rev. Walter Koch. He died in 1971. She lived in Bremen from 1972-87 and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in that community. Surviving are three sons, the Rev. Willard Koch of Lakefield, the Rev. Robert Koch of Warsaw and Clarence Koch of Hyattsville, Md.; a daughter, Gert Purschwitz of Bremen; 28 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were a son, a daughter, seven brothers and four sisters. There will be two funeral services. The fist will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield on Tuesday. The second will be Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
