JOHN MARVIN WEBB
October 26, 1911 ~ April 25, 1982
Funeral services for John Marvin Webb, 70, Smithville, were held last Wednesday, April 28, in the Smithville Holiness Church with Bro. Willie Padgett and Bro. Ray Issac officiating.
Mr. Webb died April 26 in a Mena, Ark. nursing home.
Born Oct. 26, 1911 in Dike, Tex., he had resided in Smithville since 1932. He was a retired carpenter and construction worker and a member of the Smithville Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel, of the home; one daughter, Lacreta Armstrong of Smithville; two brothers, Cecil Webb of Harrison, Ark. and Wilson Webb of Sweet Home, Ore.; one sister, Willie Bell Phillips of Smithville; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Arrangements and burial in Smithville Cemetery were under direction of Geyer-Quillin Funeral Home of Mena.
