Lloyd Eggett, age 63, died March 10, 1982. He was born May 21, 1918 in Bountiful, the son of John and Mary Shill Eggett. He married Lucile Burningham Oct. 12, 1936 in Bountiful. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, August, 1938.
HE WAS an active member of the LDS Church and a high priest in the Bountiful 39th Ward. He retired from Union Pacific Rail Road after 37 years of work. He was a member of the Friendly Club and served as president for nine years.
Survivors include his wife of Bountiful; sons, Ronald Eggett, Payson, Ut.; Douglas Eggett, Preston, Ida.; and Monty Eggett, Bountiful; daughters, Mrs. George (Lanay) Brinkerhoff, Payson; Mrs. Emory (Nina Lou) Larsen, Salt Lake City; Christine Eggett of Milford, Ut.; 27 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, Alvin Eggett of Woods Cross; sisters, Mary Anderson, Bountiful; Mrs. Clarence (Thelma) Lail, North Salt Lake; Mrs. Ralph (Lillie) Curtis, Bell, Calif.
FUNERAL services were held March 13 at the Bountiful 39th Ward Chapel. Interment in the Bountiful City Mortuary under the direction of Russon Brothers Mortuary.
