Annie Coumbs was born to Thomas Coumbs (1842-1912) and Elizabeth Marian Cochran (1842-1893). Family records have her dying and buried at Deer Lick Springs. Deer Lick Springs is a small private resort and campground in an very isolated area, It was at one time owned by her Uncle John Coumbs and called Coumbs Springs. Sick individuals used to be taken to the Springs for their health.
