She was the daughter of Thomas Coumbs (1842-1912); her mother Elizabeth Marian Cochran (1842-1893) died about 6 years ago. She leaves behind her father, five sisters: Mrs. S.M. Gibson of Weaverville, Mrs. M.E. Dockery of Hay Fork, Mrs. Curtis Clements of Indian Creek, Misses Lizzie and Jennie Coumbs, and two brothers: Thomas and Walter of Brown's Creek.
