She was born June 22, 1914, in Fairview, Mich., to Oscar and Alice (Beck) Plank. She married Franklin Mishler on June 22, 1934, in Topeka. He died Dec. 17, 2001.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Ledford) Benton of North Manchester and Judy (Jack) Kortie of Middlebury; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Irene (Orville) Blosser of Midldbury; and one brother, Kenneth Plank of Woodburn, Ore.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marlene Mockler; two sisters, Alberta Plank and Eva Phillips; and one brother, John J. Plank.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at First Mennonite Church, 203 E. Lawrence St., Middlebury, where the service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Linford Martin and the Rev. Pamela Yoder, both of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Mrs. Mishler was a homemaker and also worked as a cook for Northridge High School.
She was a member of the First Mennonite Church and the Singing Grandmas. She wintered in Sarasota Fla., for 20 years. She also sold Avon and Tupperware products and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and was known for her homemade candy.
The Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury is in charge of arrangements.
