Funeral Mass for Margaret (Moore) Jersan, 91, of Mentor, formerly of Willowick, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Mrs. Jersan passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
Born Jan. 26, 1921, in Cleveland, Margaret had retired in 1981 as a baker for the Willoughby-Eastlake School System. She had served as president of the Mother's Guild at Villa Angela Academy and had been a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Mentor. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Peggy (Jim) Feltham of Highland Heights, Joan Jersan, Janice (Ron) Manocchio and Patty (Tom) Cahill, all of Mentor; grandchildren, Kim (Dan) Knoch, Scott (Rachel) Cahill, Emily (Nick) Orlando, Mandy (Jamie) Hart and Jonathan Manocchio; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Joey, Henry, Rosie and Kaitlyn; sisters, Virginia Mutch and Louise Hoste; and other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Henry; parents, Cyrus Moore and Louise Moore-Jackson; and brothers, Ralph Moore and Albert Moore.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
