Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Mrs. Clara V. Erhard of 236 Morgantown St.,
who died last evening at 5 o'clock in Uniontown Hospital.
Mrs. Erhard was the mother of Mrs. Berwyn S. Detweiler and died following a brief illness.
Mrs. Erhard would have been 84 years old today. She had lived in Uniontown for the past 38 years.
Born April 13, 1875, in Centerville, Bedford Co., Mrs. Erhard was the daughter of Jacob S. and Mary Kreichbaum Cessna. She was married in 1898 to James G. Jamison, who died in 1903. Four years later, she was married to John A. Erhard, who died in 1913.
Mrs. Erhard was a member of Asbury Methodist Church, WCTU and for a number of years was assistant teacher of the Livingston Class.
In addition to Mrs. Detweiler, with whom she resided, she leaves six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Ferguson Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m., the hour of service. Dr. Allan J. Howes, pastor of Asbury Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Methodist Church Cemetery, Centerville, Wednesday at 10 a.m. The family asks that flowers be omitted.
