Born and reared at Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of Daniel and Margaret (Boyer) Huyett and was a member of the Methodist Church, Brunswick.
Surviving are: children, Mrs. Edgar Houser, New Oxford, Pa.; Mrs. Gladys Hornbaker, Hagerstown; Mrs. Wade D. Boarman, Hyattsville; Mrs. Elwood Chalk; step children, Mrs. John Hiendrik, Washington; Mrs. Joseph Brashears, Sharpsburg; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Lloyd R. Fisher, Roanoke; brother, Charles Hewett, Sharpsburg.
Services wre held at the A.K. Coffman Funeral Home; interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
