The Progress, Clearfield, Pa., Monday, May 12, 1975MORRISDALE — Mrs. Elva Rothrock, 85, of Morrisdale R.D., died Sunday, May 11, at 10 p.m. at the Meadville City Hospital.
She was born Feb. 27, 1890 in Franklin County, a daughter of Henry and Etta (Jones)Motter.
She was a member of the Summit Hill United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Joseph Rothrock, preceded her in death in 1967.
Survivors include the following children: Mrs. Margaret Flick of Williamsport; Donald Rothrock of Morrisdale R.D.; Mrs. John (Doris)Jackson of Meadville; Mrs. Robert Louise) Cole of Clarence, N.Y.; and Mrs. Robert (Loraine) Leech of Meadville.
Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Leo (Myrtle) Cashier of Cleveland, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Morrisdale, from 2 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral which will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the funeral home.
The Rev. Homer Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Centre Hill Cemetery.
