Joseph Rothrock, 73, of Morrisdale R. D. died at 6:50 a. m. yesterday, April 16, in the Philipsburg State General Hospital.
He was born at Morrisdale R. D. May 7, 1893, a son of Joseph and Emily (Smeal) Rothrock. He was a retired employe of the General Refractories Co. and attended the Summit Hill EUB Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elva Motter, and these children: Mrs. Margaret Flick, Williamsport; Donald, Morrisdale R.D.; Mrs. John (Doris) Jackson and Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Leech, Meadville; Mrs. Robert (Louise) Cole, Tonawanda, N. Y.; 17 grandchildren and nine great-randchildren; and one, brother, Percy Rothrock, Morrisdale R. D.
Friends will be received in the William W. Strange Home for Funerals, Morrisdale, from 7 p. m. today until 2 p. m. Wednesday when services will be conducted by the Rev. Homer Smith. Interment will be in Centre Hill Cemetery, Morrisdale R. D.
