Bernice Mosbey Peck, 97, of Bridgeton, MO, died Sunday, Jan 15, 2012 at Mark Twain Manor in Bridgeton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Born in Zalma, MO on March 25, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Howard Isaac Sturgeon and Clara Luerrnia Lacy Sturgeon.
On Aug 15, 1937, she married Perry Theo Mosbey who precededn her in death in 1976. She was later married to Ralph Peck who also preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, A.E. Sturgeon, Argle "Bill" Sturgeon, and Alfred Sturgeon and two sisters,Alta Mincey and Freda Day.
Surviving are three sons, Perry Mosby and wife, Sue, of St. Charles, MO, Deral Mosbey and wife Mary, of Lindstrom, MN, and Ray Mosbey and wife Linda, of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, one sister Velma Arrington of Neelyville and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 12:00 to 1:00pm on Wednesday, Jan 18, 2012 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden, MO. Funeral services immediately followed in the funeral chapel with Reverend Bryon Beck officiating. Burial was held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, MO. Landess Funeral Home of Malden were in charge of all arrangements.
