The beloved husband of Sue Mosbey (nee Black) for 57 years; cherished father of Elizabeth (Daniel) Ramage and Jeneane Mosbey; treasured grandpa of Alyssa, Stormy, Zachary, Sarah, Skylar and will be a great-grandpa in April 2024; dear brother of Deral (Mary) Mosbey and Ray (Lynn) Mosbey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Theo and Bernice Mosbey (nee Sturgeon). Sam was a loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Sam was an avid Nebraska Corn Huskers and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He proudly served his country in the Navy on the USS Bonhomme Richard. Sam worked tirelessly to provide for his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending family functions.
Funeral services will be on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 115 S. 6th St., St. Charles 63301.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am.
