Clara M. Baker, 99, Hamilton Arms, formerly of 649 George St., died Tuesday at Hamilton Arms after a long illness.
She would have been 100 years old on Friday. She lived most of her life in Lancaster. She worked for 30 years at the Odd Fellows Retirement Home in Middletown, retiring in 1958.
She was the oldest living member of Faith United Church of Christ where she was a former choir member and soloist.
Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Margaret Hipple Baker.
Surviving is one sister, Anna Baker Morgan, Lancaster, and nieces and nephews.
Service at Faith United Church of Christ, S. Duke and North Streets, Lancaster,PA, Friday Feb 1, 1980 at 10 a.m. Officiating clergy, the Rev. David L.Gockley. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
