He was born in Middletown, a son of the late Nathaniel and Margaret Hipple Baker, and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Mr. Baker was employed at the Bearings Company of America for the past eighteen years.
He was affiliated with Court Lancaster, No. 125, Foresters of America; Nabuno Tribe, No. 467, Improved Order of Red Men, and Stevens Council, No. 4, Knights of the Mystic Chain.
Besides his wife, who was L. Marguerite Constien before marriage, he is survived by a daughter, Betty Jane, at home; and the following brothers and sisters: Miss Clara M. Baker, Middletown; and Anna B., wife of Clarence A. Morgan; Nathaniel N. and John L., all of this city.
The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the parlors of Fred. F. Groff, Inc., No. 234 West Orange St., on Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock.
Requiem High Mass in St. Joseph Catholic Church at 9 o'clock.
