WELLINGTON - Loraine Ida Minatrea, 87, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Everett, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Minatrea was born on May 5, 1917, to Sam Turner and Freida Kuchler Turner in Odell. She worked as a presser for Toggery Dry Cleaners and several other dry cleaning businesses.

She married Willis Floyd Minatrea on June 21, 1935, in Twitty. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was active in Sunday school class.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1956; three daughters, Linda Williams in 1989, Wanda Manuel in 1991 and Laverne Armstrong in 2000; a great-grandson, Jeremy Freestone in 1999; and a brother, Garland Turner.

Survivors include two sons, Willis Floyd Minatrea II of Hernando, Miss., and Alvin Minatrea of Garland; two daughters, Freida Hartman of Wellington and Lanell Doss of Yorktown; four sisters, Virginia Bingham of Akron, Ohio, Mary Fox of Altus, Okla., Freida Simpson of Vancouver, Wash., and Geneva Royal of Lubbock; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a few great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be the Wellington Cemetery Association or a favorite charity.
