Wanda Bernice Manuel, 53, died Tuesday December 24, 1991 in Wellington.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 1991 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Tims, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in North Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers were Johnny Nash, D.L. Kellison, Littleton Havins, Charles Evans, Jerry Henderson, Eddy Witt, Charlie Bell and Floyd Bingham.

Mrs. Manuel was born August 2, 1938 in Wellington. She was the daughter of Loraine Minatrea and Willis Floyd Minatrea.

She attended Wellington Schools. She married Don Manuel March 5, 1953 in the Lillie Community. She was a member of First Baptist Church, chaplain of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gideons and a member of the Adult 3 and Ladies "B" Sunday School Class.

She was an express agent with the Mistletoe Express for 26 years.

Survivors are her husband, Don Manuel of the home; two sons, Joey Manuel and Terry Manuel , both of Wellington; a daughter, Kathy Bowen of Claude, her mother Loraine Minatrea of Wellington; two brothers, Floyd Minatrea of Hernando and Alvin Minatrea of Garland; three sisters, Laverne Armstrong of Irving, Freida Hartman of Wellington and LaNell Wauer of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren, Jamie Bowen, Kari Bowen, Kristin Bowen, all of Claude,; April Manuel and Allison Manuel of Wellington.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Williams in February, 1989 and her father, Willis Floyd Minatrea.
