Larned -- Leontine "Tina" Hemken, 93, died June 21, 2009, at Larned Healthcare Center. She was born Aug. 8, 1915, in Rush County, the daughter of Anton and Martha Schoendaller Kreutzer.

On May 7, 1940, she married Lloyd Fox. He died June 16, 1981. On April 29, 1995, she married Edwin Carl Hemken. He died Aug. 16, 2003.

Survivors include: three sisters, Matilda Miller, LaCrosse, Beartice Kohl, California, and Clarinda Campbell, Lufkin, Texas.

Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial in Larned Cemetery. Memorials to the American Heart Association, in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
