LaCrosse -- Anton Kreutzer, 86, La Crosse, died Friday at the La Crosse Rest Home after a long illness.

Born Oct. 17, 1880, born at Liebenthal, he married Martha Schoendaller Jan. 25, 1904, at Hays.

He had lived in Rush County all of his life. He was a retired custodian at the court house. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church at LaCrosse and the Knights of Columbus.

Kreutzer is survived by the widow; two sons, A. R. of Arvada, Colo., Raymond, Carthage, Mo.; daughters, Mrs. Victoria Birzer, St. John, Mrs. Eleanor Schinogle, Meade, Mrs. Leontine Fox, Rozel, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Evans, Mrs. Clarinda Campbell and Mrs. Louise Herrman, all of Aurora, Colo., Mrs. Odilla Farris, San Angelo, Texas, Mrs. Matilda Miller and Mrs. Beatrice Kohl, Chula Vista, Calif., Mrs. Mary Catherine Willis, LaCrosse; one brother, Jake of Liebenthal; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Depperschmidt, Park; 31 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael’s Church with Fr. J. J. Dreher officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Hoover Funeral Home at LaCrosse.
