ARTHUR WILLIAM TROMBLAY

Arthur William Tromblay, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 1991, at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Father Tom McNamara officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Memorials may be made for Mass service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Mr. Tromblay was born July 20, 1904, in St. Ignace, the son of Louis and Mary (Belonga) Tromblay. He and his wife Effie were married Sept. 22, 1932, in St. Ignace.

Mr. Trombley was a former resident of St. Ignace and Petosky. He worked at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Center and retired in 1970 after 19 years of service. He also was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Moose Lodge.

Mr. Tromblay is survived by a daughter, Donna Hafer of Lexington, Ky.; five grandchildren, Rob Hafer of Lexington, Ky., Bill Hafer of Clearwater, Fla, Cheryl Kampf of Mt. Pleasant, Pam Zeien of Mt. Pleasant, and Julie Friend of Alma; a brother, Alfred Tromblay of Monroe; and a sister, Loretta Martin of St. Ignace.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie, in 1985; both parents, eight brothers and four sisters.
