Delphine M. Allen, 551 McIntosh, died Wednesday at Brookhaven Medical Center, Muskegon.

She was born April 13, 1910, in St. Ignace and moved to Flint, in 1972, and then to Muskegon in 1981. She worked as a nurse at the Sault Ste. Marie Hospital.

Her husband, Melvin E., whom she married in 1927, survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Robert of Gand Junction, Colo., Franses of North Muskegon and James of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.: a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Melva) Watkins of Petoskey; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Tromblay of Monroe and Arthur of Petoskey; and sister, Mrs. Lorreta Martin of St. Ignace.

Calling hours are today from 2-5 and from 7-8 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. at Clark's Bailey-Newhouse Funeral Home.

Funeral services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mlsgr. Oliver O' Callaghan officiating.

Burial will be in Oaklawn Chapel Gardens.
