Quitman, Louisiana - Mary Vail, 63, of Quitman died Monday morning in her residence after ashort illness.
The funeral will be at 10:30 am Wednesday in Edmond Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Toms and the Rev. Jimmy Pyles officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery West near Quitman.
Survivors include her husband, E. H. Vail of Quitman; one son, Richard Vail of Sulphur, LA; three daughters, Margie Nell Nelson of Lake Charles, LA, Mary Jo Smelley of Bossier City, LA, and LaDonna Jean Vail of Quitman; two brothers, J. J. Pyles of Quitman and J. S. Pyles of Sellersburg, Indiana; three sisters, Mrs. M. F. Gray of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. J. T. Turner of Quitman, and Mrs. W. L. Gray of Wylie, Texas; 7 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
