Effie Cascile Gray 92 years old passed away Friday March 9, 2012 at her home in Wolfe City TX. Visitation service will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday, March 12, at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 13, at The Refuge Church 1380 Parker Rd. in Wylie at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Wylie. Cascile was born Nov. 11, 1919, in Arcadia, LA, the daughter of Barbara Eugenia Holland and James S Pyles. She traveled across the country with her husband, Leon Gray,a member of the USAF. During that time they raised four children and Mrs. Gray retired from the US Civil Service. In their travels they lived in Louisiana, Texas, Alaska, Michigan and Colorado before settling down in Wylie TX. Her love will continue to shine brightly through surviving family members; son, Troy (Dianne) Gray of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Barbara (Lloyd) Bell of Wolfe City, TX: brother J.S. (Genevieve) Pyles of Sellerburg, IN. Son-in-law, Gerry Foster of Wylie, TX. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William Leon Gray, her Mother and Father, Jim Pyles and Barbara Eugenia Holland Pyles. Daughters, Linda Foster and Brenda Meath; Grandchildren: Kirk Raidt, Karl Reishus, Greg Foster and Steve Gray. Great grandchildren: Cooper Gray and Meghan McBrayer, her Brothers and Sisters- Daisy Morris, Hazel Lowe, Johnny Pyles, Jackie Pyles, Magnolia Vail, Marteal Gray and Claudine Turner Also preceded her in death.
