Emily Clara Ignowski was born in Elba, Nebraska on June 20, 1914, the daughter of Anthony and Theodosia Deleski. She attended school and grew to womanhood in Nebraska.
On October 8, 1934 she was united in marriage to Hubert Ignowski in Nebraska.
On October 8, 1934 she was united in marriage to Hubert Ignowski in Nebraska. In 1942, Mr. and Mrs. Ignowski came to Minnesota and made their home in Alexandria, Minnesota.
Mrs. Ignowski was a member of St. Mary's Guild.
She passed away at the Douglas County Hospital on Monday, March 31, 1975 at the age of 60 years.
Surviving are her husband, Hubert; two sons and two daughters: Ronald of San Clemente, California; Gary of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Donna (Mrs. Jerry Cassady) of Garden Grove, California; Sharon Ignowski Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; two brothers: Stanley Deleski and Frank Deleski of Nelson, Minnesota.
Prayer Services were Wednesday, April 2 1975, 8:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, Minnesota.
Funeral Services were Thursday, April 3, 1975, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alexandria, Minnesota. Rev. Arthur Hoppe and Rev. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Internment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Alexandria, Minnesota.
Pall Bearers were Thomas Quist, Bernard Bitzan, Ronnie Hvezda, Walter Korkowski, Donald Lorsing and Darwin Ripley.
