Stanley Clifford Deleski was born October 29, 1903, in Elba, Nebraska, the son of Anton and Teresa (Budzinki) Deleski. He attended town school and grew to manhood in Elba. In 1936, the family moved to Alexandria where Stanley farmed and later joined with his brother Frank on their own farm. Stanley retired from farming in 1978 and moved into the City of Alexandria where he has resided since. Stanley was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and loved to fish and hunt. He died on Wednesday, June 22, 1983 at the Douglas County Hospital at the age of 79 years.
Stanley is survived by one brother, Frank Deleski of Alexandira. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Rosary services were held Sunday, June 26, 1983 at 7:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Chapel, Alexandria. Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, June 27, 1983 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alexandria with the Rev. Kerry Harrington officiating. Internment was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Alexandria.
Pallbearers were Henry Chouanard, Chet Gunderson, Harold Close, Bob Schneiderhan, Harold Swanson and Wallace Erickson.
Music was provided by organist Lillian Rocheford and soloist Richard Osterberg.
Arrangements were with the Anderson Funeral Home.
