Frank Schimnich, 90, 223 4th Ave. S., died at his home Oct. 8. He was born in St. Stephen on May 2, 1893, to the late Andrew and Margaret Schimnich and married Mary Trobec on Jan. 13, 1930. The couple lived in St. Stephen until moving here in 1941. He was a retired carpenter.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and Catholic Aid Society. He had been a church usher for many years and was a retired member of the local Carpenter's Union.

Mr. Schimnich is survived by his widow; sons and daughter, Jerome and Philip, Sauk Rapids and Mrs. George (Annella) Servatius, Melrose; brother, Mike, St. Otto's Nursing Home, Little Falls; and sisters, Mrs. Tillie Dhein, Country Manor Nursing Home, Sartell; Mrs. Margaret Chambers, Burbank, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ross-Vesser Funeral HOme after 7 p.m. tonight.

Rosaries will be said tonight at the funeral home at 8 p.m. by the Christian Mothers and at 8:30 p.m. by the Catholic Aid Society.

Wednesday the rosary will be said at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. by the Holy Name Society and at 8 p.m. Sacred Heart parish will say the parish prayers.

Godchildren of the deceased will be the pallbearers.

The family prefers memorials to the Sacred Heart Church.
