Michael Schimnitsch

Michael Schimnitsch, 83. a resident of St. Otto's Home for the past five years and formerly of St. Stephen, died Aug. 20 at St. Gabriel's Hospital. Mr. Schimnitsch, a farmer, was born May 8, 1891 in St. Stephen. He married Loretta Wimmer June 3, 1924.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Walter (Phyllis) Stegora, CleElum, Wash., Mrs. Roman (Kathleen) Ramler, Albany; and Mrs. Arnold (Arliss) Goenner, Clear Lake; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his wife on July 31, 1969 and by one son, Michael.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, St. Stephen, with burial in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the St. Stephen Parish Hall Wednesday afternoon. Arrangements were made by Brenny Funeral Home, Holdingford.
