Jean Merrill Hammeken, 75, of 109 Lynbrook Circle, who died Saturday at her home after a long illness, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in the DeWitt Community Church. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery.

The family will greet friends following the services.

There will be calling hours.

A life resident of Syracuse, she attended the Rosemary School and was a graduate of the Goodyear-Burlingame School. She also attended Syracuse University.

She was a bookkeeper for many years for Auer and Co.

She was a member of the DeWitt Community Church and was a former member of the Junior League of Syracuse.

Surviving are her husband, John B.; a daughter, Sandra Clark of Barrington, Ill.; a son, John B. III of Fairport; a sister, Hollis Russell of DeWitt; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Contributions can be made to the Caring Coalition in Syracuse or the Albert B. Memorial Fund, care of Syracuse University.

Burns-Garfield Memorial Home has charge of the arrangements.
