Funeral services were at 11 A.M., February 4, 1985 in the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Donnellson for Carl H. Hirschler. The Rev. J. Winfred Stoerker officiated at the services. Burial was in the Evangelical Cemetery.
Mr. Hirschler, 81, of Donnellson, died Friday, February 1, 1985 at his home.
He was born January 4, 1904, in Donnellson. A farmer, he had lived on the same farm for 72 years. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Donnellson.
On October 24, 1928, at Donnellson, he married Ruth Koller, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. (Lois) Berry of Williamburg, Iowa; two brothers, Guthrie Hirschler of Donnellson and Sherman Hirschler of Fairfield and four grandchildren
He was preceded in death by two sons.
A memorial to St. Paul United Church of Christ has been established. Contribution may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home which was in charge of the arrangements.
Casket bearers were Gary Schiller, Rick Schiller, Jim Killer, Robert Koller, Stanley Koller and Kenneth Koller
