MURRIETA -- Raymond D. Roark, 72, died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at his home.
Born Aug. 11, 1931, in White Rock, Pa., he lived in Murrieta for seven years. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring as a master chief petty officer. He was a member of the Friends of the Murrieta Library. He enjoyed sports, reading and traveling.
Mr. Roark is survived by his wife, Lilia Roark of Murrieta; daughter, Erika Roark of Murrieta; and sisters Janet Kuhn and Jeanne McComsey, both of Lancaster, Pa.
Private services are planned. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery.
Valley Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
