Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Bokchito Cemetery with the Rev. R.H. Brese, officiating.
A native of Wade, Okla., she had been a former Borger resident. She later moved to Durant, Okla. from Borger. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Borger and attended Wade School through the 8th grade.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Azzie Atkinson, one brother, Brooks; three sisters, Vera, Thelma, and Grace.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Vandenburg of the home; one son, Boyce Lindell Vandenburg of Durant, Okla.; one brother, C.L. Atkinson also of Durant, Okla.; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
