A native Wade, Okla., Mrs. Chester had resided in Borger for the past 31 years. She was owner and operator for the Fashionette Beauty Salon.
Mrs. Chester was a member of Gateway Baptist Church where she was secretary for the Willin Workers Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband, E.P. Chester of the home; two sons, Ricky and Boyd, both of Borger; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Whitworth of Bokchito, Okla. and Mrs. Lucille Vandenburg of Borger; one brother, C.L. Atkinson of Borger; and three granddaughters.
