Obit is of unknown origin: Creve Coeur - Ada C. Cowan, 90, a resident of Lincoln Land Nursing Home in Lincoln died at 6 a.m. Sunday, Sep 30, 1990. She was formerly of Creve Coeur. Cremation rights will be accorded.

Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Creve Coeur Weslayan Church. The Rev. B. Craig Smith will officiate. Burial of ashes will be at a later date at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. There will be no visitation. Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Nov. 25, 1890 in Berkely, Ky., to G. Thomas and Sara S. Eligood Hayden. She married Charles A. Cowan on Jan 20, 1908, in Mayfield, Ky. He died on Oct 5, 1957.

Surviving are one son, Charles A. "Chuck" of Fort Myers, Fla.; two daughters, Charlene Bagby of Creve Coeur and Ruby Goeken of Orlando, Fla.; several grandchilden and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by three daughters and 12 brothers and sisters.
