February 1952 — Passage. Funeral services for Joseph Boyce Andrus, 74, who died at his home Friday, after several months’ illness, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Marysville Ward LDs church. Bishop James E. Stringham will conduct the services.

He was born September 5, 1877 at St. George, Utah, a son of Milo and Margaret M. Boyce Andrus.

Mr. Andrus married Maud E. Gee of Ashton in 1900 and later the marriage ceremony was repeated in the Logan LDS temple. To this union four children were born.

Mrs. Andres died in 1922.

Mr. Andrus married Mary Highbee Cotterell of Ashton in 1933. They have made their home the Ashton vicinity.

Besides his widow he is survived by three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Thelma High, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Geneva Shultz, Butte, Mont.; Margaret Lois Andrus, Ashton; Lee Joseph Andrus, Pocatello, Elray J. Andrus, Ashton; also a twin brother Benjamin Boyce Andrus, Cardston, Alberta, Canada.
