Mike was born in Panama during his parents two year tour there for the U.S. Air Force. He attended many schools as his family traveled around the world. In his elementary grades at David A Weir school in Fairfield he became quite an accomplished trumpet player performing in the school band at many functions. . He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1972 and joined the Navy in September of 1972. During his naval career he served on the nuclear-powered attack aircraft carrier USS Enterprise and the USS Cimarron. Upon release from the Navy, Mike worked at the Fairfield Ball Canning company as a welder. Mike never married or had any children. He passed away in 1990 from pneumonia. He had one sister - Patty A Todd Hudson.
