Harry Truman Hupp, 88, a popular Elizabeth resident the past several years, died at Camden-Clark Memorial Hos[ital, Parkersburg, Saturday, September 24, at 9:10 p.m.

He was born in Wirt County June 12, 1889, a son of yje late Hiram and Mary Hall Hupp.

A pleasant man with a ready Smile, he spent most of his life in Palestine area of Wirt County. He was a retired farmer, was a veteran of World War I, with several months service in the U.S. Army, and was ready for overseas duty when the war ended. He was a member of the Buffalo United Methodist Church.

He survived by two sons, Donzel and Harold, both of Akron, O.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jackson, of Elizabeth, and Mrs. Delores Nemeth, of Akron, O.; a brother, Herbert Hupp, of Akron, O.;ten grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Hupp; and by three sons, two brothers, and three Sisters.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pomroy Funeral Home Chapel, City, with the Rev. Casey Stinspring officiating, and interment was in the Palestine Cemetery.
