She died on June 29, 1987, in Canal Fulton, Ohio, at the age of 50, and was buried in the Palestine Cemetery Thorne Addition in Palestine, West Virginia. Deloris had one sister, Dorothy Jackson; and five brothers Donzil Hupp, Elmer Hupp, Chester Hupp, Harold Hupp, and Charles Hupp.
