Kenneth D. Warren, age 77, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2001, in a Wichita Falls, Texas, hospital. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2001, at the First United Methodist Church in Seymour, with Reverend Larry Crumpton, Pastor and Reverend Lee Roy Collins, brother-in-law of Mr. Warren, officiating. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Warren was born March 3, 1924, in Seymour, Texas, to Raymond T. and Louise Hardy Warren. He married Hester Collins on May 14, 1960 in Aredale, Iowa. He was a helicopter tech rep for the Department of Defense and lived and worked in many places around the world. After his retirement he returned to Seymour in 1990. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. A member of the First United Methodist Church in Seymour, and a 50 year member of Seymour Masonic Lodge #604 AF & AM.
He is survived by his wife Hester of Seymour, Texas; by one daughter, Ann McClintock of Hesperia, California; by one son, Dale Warren of Maineville, Ohio; by his mother, Louise Warren of Seymour, Texas; by two brothers, Travis Warren of Seymour, Texas, and John Warren of Lovington, N.M.; by one sister, Anna Beth Gray of Flourrisant, Missouri; and by two grandchildren, Michelle and Jesse McClintock of Hesperia, California.
Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Warren; by an infant sister, Bettie Ruth Warren; and by an infant son.
