Michael Dascher, 79, of 1615 Rist Ave., died Friday noon at the Eau Claire Manor.

Mr. Dascher was a resident of Eau Claire for 47 years and an employe of the Sterling Pulp and Paper Co. until his retirement in 1960.

He is survived by his wife, Clara; four sons, Doyle and Harland, both of Eau Claire, LaMoine, Phoenix, Ariz., and Albury, Broomfield, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. James Melhus, Fremont, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Wright, Eau Claire, Mrs. Jennie Jackson, Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Anna Hansow, St. James, Minn., and Mrs. Christ Felshine, La Crosse; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pentecostal Assembly Church, the Rev. Richard Davis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday afternoon and night and Tuesday until noon at the Stokes and Sons Funeral Chapel, then at the church.
