OBITUARY. The sad news was received in the city yesterday of the death at Summerland on Dec. 31 of Mrs. Elizabeth Gray, one of the pioneer residents of New Westminster. Mrs. Gray has a host of friends in the city who will be grieved to hear of her demise. She is, survived by four sons and two daughters, Mr. Thomas W. Gray and Mr. James C. Gray of this city; Mr. Matthew Gray of Vancouver and Mr. George Gray of Summerland. The daughters live in Washington.

Mrs. Gray was a native of Rawdon, Que., and passed away at the ripe old age of eighty-four. She came from the east to New Westminster 37 years ago but has resided in Summerland for the past five years. Alderman A. W. Gray is a grandson of the late Mrs. Gray.

The funeral will take place from the residence of Mr. A. W. Gray, 236 Second street at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
