Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott, for Mrs. Fred Domingue, the former Mollie Angelle, age 77, who died on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Entombment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Mausoleum in Scott.
Reverend Gil Dutel, Pastor of St. Edmond Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Giftbearers will be Jackie Zaunbrecher, Janet Hebert and Mary Constantine. Lectors will be Angelle Domingue, Simone Domingue, Mollie Feerick and Madeleine Thibeaux. Jodi Bollich, organist, will sing for the services, "Ave Maria", "You Are Mine", "Amazing Grace", "On Eagles Wings" and "Here I Am Lord".
Survivors include her husband of fifty six years, Fred Domingue of Scott; one daughter, Nanette Thibeaux and her husband David of Lafayette; one son, Dean Domingue and his wife Denise of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Angelle Domingue, Simone Domingue, Mollie Feerick and her husband, Rourke and Madeleine Thibeaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Moise Angelle, Sr. and the former Elvige Hollier; three brothers, Moise Angelle, Jr., Antoine Angelle and Rodney Angelle; three sisters, Anna Lou Stemmans, Lucille Villard and Lillian Trosclair and one niece, Dana Angelle.
Born on February 7, 1935 in Carencro, Louisiana, Mrs. Domingue was a resident of Scott for forty years. She was a devout member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott. Mrs. Domingue was a loving mother and grandmother and was truly devoted to her family.
Pallbearers will be Dean Domingue, David Thibeaux, Rourke Feerick, Robert Villard, Richard Villard, Mike Stemmans, Keith Dronet and Mike Lantier.
Martin & Castille-Scott-802 Alfred Street Scott, Louisiana was in charge of services.
