Ms. Villard, born October 26, 1922, was a native of Cecilia, LA and a lifelong resident of Carencro. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro and had been a member of the Bonne Mort Society and the St. Ann Society.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Villard and Richard Villard and his wife, Dawn, all of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Mallory Villard, Brice Villard, Justin Villard, and Blake Villard; and two sisters, Lillian Trosclair and her husband, Gene, and Mollie Domingue and her husband, Fred, all of Scott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Villard; her parents, Moise Angelle and the former Eldvige Hollier; three brothers, Moise Angelle, Jr., Antoine Angelle, and Rodney Angelle; and one sister, Anna Lou Stemmans.
