Charles E. Bower

Charles E. Bower, 70, of S. Liberty St., died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1954, at 2.30 a.m. at his home. Roy L. Bryerton, coroner, said death was caused by acute dilation of the heart. Mr. Bower had a heart condition for some time.

He was born in Rote, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bower. He was a retired painter and paper hanger and a member of the Salvation Army.

Survivors are his wife, the former Nettie Donahay; four sons, Kenneth, Raymond and Charles, Jr., all of Lock Haven, and Dale, of Swissdale; three daughters, Marion and Mrs. Jack Myers of Lock Haven, and Mrs. Harry Bailey of Williamsport; 24 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

BOWER--Services for Charles E. Bower, 70, of S. Liberty St., who died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1954, at his home will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Helt Funeral Home, 109 W. Church St. Maj. Walter Murdock of the Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will be in Dunnstown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home any time.
